I am a huge fan of color changes and I used to love spellbound type of routines.
*If you don’t know what spellbound, it is basically a coin changes its color/shape back and forth
However, I was thinking a single change is good enough because any more would make it look like a show-off of sleight of hand.
“Hey, look! I can change two coins around without flashing!”
I used to love spellbound type of routines. Man, I loved it. But it usually starts with a silver coin and ends with a copper/chinese coin. I thought about it… and it… uhh…. made me not love spellbound anymore.
If I really could do magic, or at least pretending to do real magic, I would turn a silver coin into a gold coin. Just to make it mean/worth something.
BUT if I have that ability, I would much rather turn a copper coin into a gold coin. It is a better exchange? If I could do that… why don’t I just pick up a rock and turn it into a gold? Like King Medias stuff. That would be cool.
With that in mind, my favorite coin magic became “picking up a rock and turn it into a gold”. Interesting…
Or like.. like.... If I'm in a class or something. Pick up an eraser and turn that into a solid gold bar... that would be cool. Like real wizard or something? hahahaha
